20. Code: Breaker

Code: Breaker narrates the story of a high school girl named Sakura Sakurakōji, a skilled martial art enthusiast. However, while riding the bus one day, Sakura witnessed people being torched alive with a blue flame. Surprisingly, this was done by the hands of a kid who remained unharmed. 

Nevertheless, she returns to the site the next day, only to discover no corpses or evidence of murder. However, when Sakura gets to class, she is left bemused. This is because the new student who just reported to her class was the same kid she saw the previous day, setting people on fire. 

Sakura later learns that he is Rei Ōgami, a particular type of assassin with mysterious powers seeking revenge against people who had wronged him. Additionally, he is part of a secret organization that works for the government. 

Seeking to redeem Rei from the path of vengeance, she becomes close to him. Also, she makes it her mission to convince Rei to abandon that path before people get hurt. Consequently, this anime features action, adventure, comedy, and drama.

19. Nabari No Ou

Nabari No Ou is a Japanese series is about Rokujou Miharu, a 14-year-old  teenager carrying the highly coveted Hijutsu “Shinrabanshou,” scroll inside him. This scroll contains a powerful ancient Ninja technique that several Ninja clans desire to acquire.

Miharu is apathetic and nonchalant at first. However, when the rival clans bring their battles to him, he wakes up to the responsibility of the Scroll carrier. Also, he slowly rises to become the ruler of Nabari.
